ROLE MODEL COLE

19 October 2015

He is the perfect example for any young player here in what they should aspire to says Mick

Mick McCarthy has described Cole Skuse as a great role model for any young player coming up through the ranks at Portman Road.

The midfielder put pen to paper on a new contract this morning that keeps him at the Club until the summer of 2018 at least, joining the likes of Freddie Sears, Daryl Murphy, David
McGoldrick, Luke Chambers and Christophe Berra in pledging his long term future to Blues.

“It’s great news, Cole signing and well deserved,” the Town boss told the Club website.

“He is a virtual ever present in the side, is low maintenance, a great guy around the place and a really good player. He is also the perfect example for any young player here in what they should aspire to.”

Cole is included in the squad for Tuesday night’s trip to Hull but Tommy Oar will miss the game after being concussed during the goalless draw with Huddersfield.
