Wanted: A Junior Blue to lead Town out at Old Trafford

Town are looking for a Junior Blue to lead the team out as mascot when Mick McCarthy’s side take on Manchester United in the Capital One Cup later this month.

There could be as many as 75,000 fans at Old Trafford when United host Town in the third round tie on September 23, with Blues certain to be backed by a large travelling support.

One lucky Junior Blue will be right at the centre of the action, leading the teams out at the Theatre of Dreams - and here’s how.

Junior Blues need to read the question below and email their answer to, along with their name, address and a parent/guardian’s contact details.

Entries must be received by the closing date of midnight on September 10. One correct entry will then be drawn ‘out of the hat’ to be Town’s mascot on the big night.

The winner and their parents/guardians will also receive three tickets to the match to watch the Super Blues take on one of the biggest clubs in the world in one of the most famous stadiums in the world.

The winning Junior Blue must supply their own full home kit to be mascot on the night.

What is the name of the stadium where Town will play Manchester United?

The Club’s decision is final on all matters relating to this competition and no correspondence will be entered into.
