No late moves before window closes says Mick but Alex can move on

Mick McCarthy says he won’t be adding to his squad before the transfer window closes at 6pm tonight.

Blues signed Piotr Malarczyk and Tommy Oar on two year deals last week and the Town boss told the Club website that he will not be making any late moves in the transfer market.

“That’s it for us,” Mick told the Club website.

“We have Bez, Murph, Bish, Kevin Bru and Jonny Parr to come back from injury and when we have them available, we have a strong squad, certainly the strongest we’ve had since I’ve been at the Club."

Mick added though that he is prepared to let Alex Henshall leave the Club.

The winger has not featured for the first-team this season, with the boss saying: “Alex is available for transfer. He is not going to get in front of the other lads here and it’s time he moved on. I’ve told him that.”
