Town team up with Suffolk Punch Trust as Bluey gets a namesake

Luke Chambers and Cole Skuse were in attendance as Town announced a new partnership with the Suffolk Punch Trust.

Club mascot, Bluey, will have a new namesake with one of the new-born foals named after him, and the CEO of the Trust, Katie Fenton, hopes that the new partnership can help garner some extra attention from Blues fans.|

“It’s wonderful for us to have ITFC with us because hopefully it will help us reach a whole new audience of people that maybe saw the horse on the badge and never even associated it with the Suffolk Punch,” she said.

“It is an excellent opportunity to engage with fans with this iconic Suffolk breed and promote our special shared heritage.”

Skusey said: “It’s massive for the Club to put back into the community, especially with the Suffolk Punch.

“Being the true meaning behind our badge it’s nice to have that relationship and to come along to support the Trust.

“I didn’t know all this was out here but it’s such a lovely place. Katie and her team have done an unbelievable job. The horses are well looked after, well behaved - and they didn’t stamp on anyone’s feet!”

The Club will work to support the Suffolk Punch charity by offering assistance and providing awareness through a number of campaigns.
