Town left-back named in provisional squad ahead of upcoming internationals

Town defender Jonas Knudsen has been named in the provisional Denmark squad, for their upcoming international fixtures.

The left-back, who joined in the summer from Esbjerg, could be involved in a Euro 2016 qualifier away to Portugal on October 8th, before the Danes take on France in a friendly in Copenhagen on October 11th.  


Jonas is part of a 45-man provisional squad, with a final squad of 23 announce on September 29th.

Meanwhile strike duo Daryl Murphy and David McGoldrick have both been named in a 40-man provisional Republic of Ireland squad.

The Town forwards could both be involved for Martin O’Neil’s side in European qualifiers against Germany and Poland next month.

The Greens face Germany in Dublin on October 8th, with a trip to Warsaw three days later. The final squad will be announced in due course.
