Boss confirms that Berra, McGoldrick and Murphy are all available as the Blues prepare for Reading test

  • Town boosted by trio returns
  • Bishop and Bru to feature for U21s
  • Clash v Reading is live on Sky

Mick McCarthy has confirmed that Christophe Berra, David McGoldrick and Daryl Murphy are all available for selection following injury.

The trio have shaken off knocks and will be part of the squad that travels to Reading for tomorrow night’s televised clash against the Royals at the Madejski Stadium (8pm KO).

The boss has also confirmed that midfield duo Teddy Bishop and Kevin Bru are both back in training, although will play for the U21s on Monday rather than being involved tomorrow evening.

“Christophe’s back after his hamstring and it’s good to have him involved,” the gaffer told Ipswich Player HD.

“Daryl is also fine and David McGoldrick has trained all week. They are all available for us.

“Teddy Bishop and Kevin Bru are both training, they are fit but they need some minutes under their belts so they will play for the U21s against Birmingham on Monday.”
