Exciting vacancy for a Head of Charity now available at Ipswich Town Football Club

Head of Charity 

Ipswich Town Football Club is currently looking to recruit a full time Head of Charity for its Trust division. 

Managing the Friends of Ipswich Town FC Trust you will need good organisation skills, be innovative and be able to manage a range of concurrent projects as well as developing the existing schools educational programme and football coaching activities.  

The Trust is looking for an enthusiastic and committed individual who has some experience of working within a team and is able to create business plans to attract grant funding. Management of staff and budget control will be essential, as will the need to be flexible as working patterns will vary. There is significant potential to build on the current projects and make a positive difference within the local area. 

The role also requires regular management reporting, liaising with partner organisations and a willingness to contribute to the general administration duties. You will also be expected to attend meetings as required with the Football League Trust and other funders which may include travelling to other clubs and central venues. Some accounting and company secretarial experience would be an advantage. 

This is a full-time role requiring flexibility based on a 37.5 hour per week contract and may involve assisting on matchdays.
Short listing and interviews will take place throughout the duration of the vacancy ad. This may mean that the vacancy could close early should suitable candidates be found.

Salary range £20,000-£24,000 p.a. dependent on experience.
