Blues part company with winger by mutual consent
The former Manchester United winger arrived at Portman Road in the summer of 2014 as a free agent.
He has failed to break into Mick McCarthy’s side during his stay at Town though, his two appearances in a Blues’ shirt coming in the FA Cup ties against Southampton in January 2015.
“I would like to wish the lads and the management team all the best for the rest of the season,” Cameron told the Club website.
“Ipswich Town is a fantastic football club but unfortunately things haven’t gone as I would have like them to over the last two seasons.
“I am now looking forward to a new challenge and hope that once the transfer window has closed I may be in a better position to resume my career elsewhere.”
Mick added: “It has not worked out for Cameron here but that happens in football sometimes. We wish him all the best for the future.”
