Town defender admits moments like his derby day equaliser against Norwich are what he's in football for
Jonas Knudsen has hailed the atmosphere inside Portman Road during Town's 1-1 draw with Norwich as one of the best he's played in.
The Dane pulled the Blues level right on the stroke of half-time with his second goal for the Club after Cameron Jerome had given Alex Neil's side a 25th minute lead.
"It was brilliant. What an atmosphere and a fantastic feeling," Jonas said as he recalled his goal on Ipswich Player HD.
"I'd say this was the nicest atmosphere inside Portman Road I've played in. There was also a brilliant atmosphere on Boxing Day last year [against QPR] but this one was great.
"The fans need the full-backs to score some goals sometimes and they asked me a lot about it before I scored my first one last year so now I have one this season after four games so hopefully there'll be more.
"I will try and score some more because everyone saw what an atmosphere there was when I scored and that's what you play football for."
