Blues add Wales international from Leicester on season loan
The 22-year-old attacking midfielder put pen to paper on the deal today before heading off to join up with Chris Coleman's squad for their 2018 World Cup qualifier against Moldova.
Tom is a product of the Manchester United Academy and was handed his Premier League debut by caretaker boss Ryan Giggs in a 3-1 win against Hull in May 2014.
He joined Leicester on a four year contract four months later as they began their first season back in the top flight and made three substitute appearances for the Foxes in the Premier League, while also going out on loan to Rotherham.
He spent the first half of last season on loan at Blackburn and the second half on loan at Cardiff.
A host of clubs have been linked with the Wrexham-born player since his return to the King Power Stadium before Town completed the deal early this afternoon after a medical.
Capped by Wales at youth and U21 level, he played for his country in their 2016 European Championship qualifiers but missed out on the finals in France through injury.
