Position available within the Ipswich Town Sales and Events department

Vacancy: Conference & Events Coordinator

A position has become available in a well established hospitality business sporting arena for a self motivated and experienced Conference & Events Coordinator

The role is to sell and co-ordinate non match day events; being the first point of contact for incoming event enquiries. 

The successful candidate will be required to provide an effective and proactive administrative function relating to all events and to efficiently collate and administer client requirements in order to deliver the highest levels of customer service.

You will need to be able to work under pressure whilst demonstrating exceptional attention to detail. 

You will have impeccable organisational skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a wide audience. 

As part of the Club Sales team you will be required to generate ideas, make outbound sales calls, to monitor the events ‘market place’ and manage customer information, as well as demonstrating a problem solving attitude and willingness to contribute to the general administration of the Department. 

You will be highly customer focused, well groomed and have excellent command on English language both written and orally. 

This is a full time role requiring flexibility based on a 37.5 hour per week contract, with occasional evening and weekend work.
