The Town stopper visits young supporter, Max, after hearing of his letter to Santa....

Bartosz Bialkowski made a Christmas wish come true for one young Town fan this week.

The Town 'keeper, a huge fans favourite amongst the Portman Road faithful, responded to a letter that was sent to Father Christmas by young supporter, Max Jasper.

The Town fan, a keen footballer himself, was at home practicing his skills before he set off for training before he heard a knock at the door. On answering, he was shocked to see the stopper standing at the door.

The big Pole told Max he had received a call from the North Pole from his friend Santa, who had told Bart all about his letter.

So Bart contacted Max's mum and surprised him with a visit - and even got his boots on for a kickabout in the garden!

Bart also brought his kids along and has invited Max and his family to the home game with Fulham on Boxing Day, as his guests.

"It was great to spend time with Max and make his Christmas wish come true," the 'keeper told the official Club website.

"I saw his letter on Twitter and I thought it was really sweet, so I managed to get in touch with his mother and told her I'd like to come and visit, if that was okay with them.

"So me and my kids went over and it was great to make him happy, his face was a picture when I told him Santa had called me to be in touch!

"I got my boots on had a little kickabout with him, he's a very talented young player and hopefully my visit will encourage him to keep practising and improving.

"Christmas is a special time, especially for families, and it made me realise how privileged I am with my position here, so it was lovely to give something back.

"I've invited Max and his family to the Fulham game as my guest and hopefully we can give him three points as a Christmas present."
