Blues midfielder delighted to sign off the year with a win over Bristol City
Kevin Bru was delighted to send everybody involved with the Club into the new year with three valuable points.
The Mauritian midfielder grabbed the opener as Town saw off Bristol City 2-1 at Portman Road, with Brett Pitman snatching the winner late on.
“The fans, ourselves and the whole Club will be happy with the win so now we can start the new year with a victory,” he told Ipswich Player HD.
“Against Fulham, we didn’t show the aggression and the identity of Ipswich but today I think we played well and were more like ourselves.
“I seen Tom Lawrence on the left and I knew he would cross on his right foot so I just needed to touch the ball and it would go in so I’m happy.
“It was a fantastic goal [from Brett Pitman] and I think he played well today. He was good for the team and I am happy for him because he was injured but it has been a great comeback for him.
“We’re in tomorrow, so we have to now make sure we train well for the QPR game and hopefully we can take something from that game too.”
