Chambo hoping Town can gain momentum over festive programme
David McGoldrick’s header late on gave Blues a 3-2 win at the DW Stadium in the first of four games in two weeks, with Fulham and Bristol City at Portman Road on Boxing Day and December 30 before Town travel to QPR on January 2.
Town currently sit 15th in the Championship, nine points off the Play-Off places and Chambo told the Club website: “We are in a bit of 'no-man's land' at the minute which has been down to our inconsistency of results.
“We haven't been able to put a real run of results together yet but we have a chance to do exactly that now and that's what we will be aiming to do.
“Christmas is always a time where you can pick up a lot of points during a relatively short space of time, as there are so many games, and that's exactly what we need to do.”
