Blues punished for missed chances as the Hornets take all three points

Despite a dominant away performance, Town's U18s fell to a 1-0 defeat against Watford on Saturday morning.

Conor McKendry's had a deflected effort hit the cross bar, and the Blues forced Hornets 'keeper, Jamie Lacy into a string of impressive saves but having been unable find a breakthrough at London Colney, the hosts took the lead.

Jubril Adedeji scored what turned out to be the winner just before the break as he slammed past Nick Hayes from the edge of the box.

Alan Lee's side now go into Tuesday's FA Youth Cup clash with Nottingham Forest at the City Gorund looking to get back on track with a win.
