Town defender admits it's time for Town to start performing again if they're to finish in the top-six

Christophe Berra believes this crucial period in the season will define whether Town will have a successful, or a mediocre, season.

A Mohamed Diame goal just minutes into the second-half sealed all three points for Hull City at Portman Road and confined the Blues to their third successive league defeat.

“To be on three defeats in a row in the league is not like us,” the defender told Ipswich Player HD.

“Now we either dig in to try to push for the Play-Offs or we let the season simmer away and finish mid-table, but that’s not the sort of boys we have.

“We’ll come in again on Thursday and we’ll be working hard to try to put things right by putting a run together to make the top-six.

“We’ve got good character in the squad and we’ve had injuries, but that’s no excuse. Our squad is getting tested and we need to produce, but going to Huddersfield isn’t going to be easy, so we'll have to be on our game.”
