Tough 90 minutes says Mick as Town come from behind again
Daniel Johnson gave the visitors a seventh minute lead - the fifth successive home game Blues have gone behind - but Daryl Murphy levelled the scores before the break.
“It was a really tough game against a good Preston team who are on a good run with three wins on the bounce before today,” the Town boss told Ipswich Player HD.
“They started off on top and we had to show our resilience again to come from behind but the players are great like that.
“We should have had a penalty when they have handled in the box but they felt they should have had a penalty and the offside ‘goal’ I’m told was close, although the linesman flagged very early.
“We had chances at the end and I’d have loved to have taken six points from this game and Leeds but it doesn’t always work out like that and in the end, it was a fair result.”
