All you need to know about Town's newest recruit, Kevin Foley

Kevin Foley – Defender – 31
  • Has represented his country, the Republic of Ireland, eight times.
  • Was part of the Ireland squad which won the Nations Cup in 2011.
  • The last of his international caps came in a 2-0 win over Italy in 2011. 
  • Progressed though the youth ranks at Luton Town before spending five years as a professional at the club.
  • Was signed by Mick McCarthy for Wolves in 2007.
  • Won the Wolves Player of the Season, as voted by the fans, in the club’s 2008/09 Championship winning season.
  • Was most recently playing in Denmark for FC Copenhagen, and faced an Esbjerg side which included Jonas Knudsen three times.
  • Had two separate loan spells with Blackpool.
  • Has never been sent off in his professional career. 
  • Could be available for selection for tomorrow’s game against Birmingham City, should he be given international clearance in time.
