Boss praise for 'a team to be proud of'
Blues have picked up 16 points from the last 21 available and have closed the gap on the automatic promotion places to six points, with late winners against QPR and Leeds recently at Portman Road.
“I look back at Chambo’s winner against QPR. We didn’t play well in that game and it wasn’t a good match but we won it because the players stuck at it. They never stopped working,” the Town boss told the Club website.
“I’m lucky to have the players I’ve got here. They look after each other. They fight for each other and that is a great quality to have.
“We have good players here but they are good people as well. That is very important to me. Like I said, I’m lucky to have them. I think we have a team to be proud of as well.”
