Former Wolves defender, Kevin Foley to sign up until the end of the season, replacing the outgoing Jonathan Parr
Town are set to sign former Wolves full-back Kevin Foley on a deal until the end of the season.
Mick McCarthy spoke of the deal following Tuesday night’s 2-1 win over Leeds at Portman Road and the defender, who has represented the Republic of Ireland on eight occasions, should be available for selection for Saturday’s home match against Preston North End, providing all the paperwork is submitted in time.
“Kevin is signing for us. He’s a great lad,” the gaffer told the Club website.
“He’s coming in until the end of the season to replace Jonny Parr, giving us good cover and competition for both full-back positions so we’re delighted to have him here.”
