Cameras at Portman Road for Norwich visit plus date change for return fixture

Town’s match against Norwich on Sunday, August 21 will be shown live on Sky TV, with the visit to Reading in September also covered by the satellite broadcaster.

The first East Anglia derby of the campaign will now kick-off at Portman Road at midday.

The Sky cameras were at Town for the last home clash against the Canaries when Paul Anderson’s goal gave Blues a 1-1 draw in the first-leg of the Play-Off semi-finals in May 2015.

It has also been agreed on police advice that the return fixture at Carrow Road will now be put back 24 hours and be played on Sunday, February 26 with kick-off at midday.

Sky’s selection of Championship matches to be covered live that month will be made much closer to the time so the game is subject to that decision.

Blues will be back on the box when Mick McCarthy takes his side to Reading in September.

The game was originally scheduled for September 10 but will now be played on Friday, September 9 and will kick-off at 8pm.
