Ipswich Town is looking to recruit self-motivated, committed, confident and knowledgeable individuals to join the youth football department in the position of PDP part-time coach.
The role of the PDP coach is fundamental to the long term vision of Ipswich Town FC in helping to identify and develop players.
The role includes planning and delivering a co-ordinated coaching programme from the Club's coaching philosophy for U7-U16 age groups.
The successful candidates will be expected to work on specific weekday evenings for two hours and weekday fixtures during school holidays, covering both training and/or the games programme.
The successful candidates will be required to have good knowledge of the game through playing experience and preferably have previous experience of coaching at youth development level.
Candidates will be expected to complete a Youth Player Development Review document for each player within your age groups at the end of each training block.
Essential qualifications:
• FA Level 2 football coaching certificate
• FA Youth Award Modules 1 & 2
• Basic First Aid for Sport
• FA Safeguarding Children
• Member of the FA Licensed Coaches Club
• CRB/DBS Certified
• Full UK driving licence and use of own vehicle
Further qualifications: UEFA B Licence and FA youth module 3 or working towards would be desirable.
