Bars, live music, food, kids' area and FREE entry for ALL Town fans three hours before kick-off

Town are launching the Club’s first ever Fanzone at Portman Road in time for the new season.

Situated on the fieldturf, the Fanzone is FREE ENTRY to ALL home fans with a season ticket or match ticket, as well as Club members, with a variety of entertainment on offer in the lead up to kick-off.

Inside the Blue Inn marquee, there will bars stocking a range of beers with the latest news and live matches shown on giant TV screens.

The traditional matchday food outlets where supporters can grab their own pre-match burger will be available, while fans will also be entertained by live music.

For the younger Town fans, bouncy castles and other fun activities will be available, with the Blue Army also able to take their place in the official first-team photograph alongside Chambo, Murph, Bish and co.

“It’s an exciting venture. We are hoping that the Fanzone will be a place that Town fans will meet up before kick-off and enjoy that pre-match build-up and buzz you get in the lead up to the game,” said Town MD, Ian Milne.

The Fanzone will be open for the first game of the season, at home to Barnsley on August 6, with Town legends from the past set to be in attendance. Entry is via Gate 1A at MIDDAY with last orders at the bars at 2.30pm.

The Fanzone will only be open on weekend matchdays and outside activities can be affected by the weather.

All supporters must exit the Fanzone through Gate 1A before heading to the turnstiles for entry into the stands.

More details will follow through next week.
