Three-year deal agreed between the Football Club and multi-service facilities management provider

Ipswich Town have signed a three year deal with Vertas Group Limited, a multi-service facilities management provider in East Anglia.

The partnership will see the Club and Vertas work together on a wide range of projects that will benefit the community, including Town’s dietary experts providing support in creating healthy, Club endorsed menus for catering provided in schools by Vertas.

Further joint activities in schools are already being discussed between the Club and Vertas, who have considerable experience in public and private sector service delivery, providing cleaning, ground and building work at around 400 business and school sites across Suffolk.

“It is clear that there are significant benefits for us to be working alongside such a prominent local company as Vertas,” said Town managing director, Ian Milne.

“I’m sure it’s a partnership that will grow over the next three years and prove beneficial to the Suffolk community.”

Ian Surtees, group managing director for Vertas, added: “We are delighted to be entering into this key partnership with such a well-loved, local club, not only to those fans living in Ipswich but their supporters across Suffolk and beyond.

“The Vertas Group and Ipswich Town operate as two very large local employers, bringing a huge economy into the area. It is vital that we work together in finding mutual business efficiencies; subsequently improving our service offers to the community.

“Alongside my colleagues here at Vertas Group Limited, I look forward to working in partnership with Ipswich Town over the next three years and cannot wait to involve the Club in some of our key business activities.”
