Bru and Dougie clear to play and Giles close to return but Town wait on Murph
Dougie missed the win over Nottingham Forest at the weekend after sustaining a cut to his foot in training while Kevin was forced off at half-time with a sickness bug.
“Dougie is fine. He wanted to play on Saturday but we didn’t want to risk him making it worse and being out for a few weeks. It was my call,” Town boss Mick McCarthy told Ipswich Player HD.
“Kevin was sick at half-time on Saturday and in a bad way. We sent him straight home.
“I rang him yesterday expecting him to be full up with a virus but he said he was fine and ready to train so that’s a nice bonus for us because I thought he played well in the first-half.
“They will both be okay for Bolton but it might be too early for Murph. We will see. We have a lot of games to play and we won’t risk him. We will see how he is.”
Giles Coke is still missing with a knee ligament injury that has kept him out since the defeat at QPR a month ago but told Ipswich Player HD: “I’m on the mend now and should be back in training later this week.”
