Town wait on scan as calf problem sees striker cut short Ireland stay
The striker has returned to the Club after picking up a calf injury while winning his 20th cap for the Republic of Ireland in their 1-0 victory over Switzerland last Friday.
“Murph has a tear in his calf but we have no timescale over the injury at the moment,” Town physio Matt Byard told the Club website.
“We are looking to get him scanned again on Tuesday and we will know more from there but needless to say, there has to be a concern about him for the weekend.”
Daryl, who was sidelined for Blues' games against Forest and Bolton with a calf problem, misses out on a chance to add to his international appearance tally in Ireland's friendly against Slovakia in Dublin on Tuesday.
