Winger due to sign on loan from Bolton for the rest of the season and could make his Blues debut at the weekend
Mick McCarthy has revealed that Town are set to sign Liam Feeney on loan from Bolton until the end of the season.
The winger will join the Blues ahead of the weekend clash against Rotherham, where he could make his Town debut.
The boss has moved to sign the former Bournemouth and Millwall man for the promotion run-in, with midfield duo Ryan Fraser and Teddy Bishop still sidelined.
The winger began his career in non-League with Hayes, before switching to Salisbury and catching the eye as an exciting prospect.
A brief loan spell at Southend followed before Liam got his big break in the Football League, joining Bournemouth and going on to clock over 100 appearances for the Cherries.
The midfielder then joined Millwall, spending three years in London whilst also taking in loan spells with both Bolton and Blackburn.
Bolton then signed Liam permanently and he featured against Town in the recent 2-2 draw at the Macron Stadium, before teaming up with the Blues for the remainder of the season.Tweets by @Official_ITFC
