Keeper at the double at the end of season awards

Bartosz Bialkowski completed the double by taking the Players’ Player of the Year award at tonight’s End of Season dinner. 

The Town ‘keeper, who was voted the Player of the Year by the supporters last month, received the trophy in front of more than 300 people at the prestigious black tie event held at The Hangar, Milsom’s Kesgrave Hall.  

Bart also received the Corporate Customers, Boxholders and Sponsors’ Player of the Year to round off a memorable night for the 28-year-old. 

The Young Player of the Year went to Andre Dozzell, who celebrated his 17th birthday yesterday by signing a two year professional contract with Blues. 

The John Kerridge Trophy, as chosen by Mick McCarthy, went to Freddie Sears while Kevin Bru's rocket at Bolton was voted Goal of the Season.

Fred.Olsen Cruise Lines were the official sponsors of the event, which was hosted by Simon Milton and included an interview with Mick McCarthy along with a four course meal and wine.

Other sponsors included Source One; GAH; Coastal Global Logistics; Atom Hydraulics; Chelmsford Plastic Warehouse and Britton Group.
