Town skipper hopes win at Hillsborough can be a catalyst to kick-start the Blues' season

Luke Chambers has praised everyone involved with the Club for sticking together during a difficult period after Town beat Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough.

minute winner against the Owls to hand the Blues a second away win of the campaign, and he believes the celebrations showed how much it meant to everyone.thThe skipper bagged an 87

“It feels brilliant. It’s a massive three points, and we needed it because we haven’t had the results we’ve wanted of late,” he told Ipswich Player HD.

“You saw what it meant to all the boys at the end, celebrating together with the subs and the gaffer involved as well.

“We have to stick together during runs like this and we’ve done that today. I think we gave one of, if not our best performance of the season today.

“The fans were fantastic and they were with us all through the game, even when it went to 1-1.

"You'd like to think it's a game that can kick-start our season, but the games come thick and fast and against every team you come up against someone who has aspiraitons of promotion but we're just trying to implement what we do, and I think we definitely did that today.

“We have to stick together and I know it’s been difficult and frustrating at times but we all want what’s best for the football Club."
