Armed Forces recognised as Sergeant Dale Daley leads out teams against Forest
An exceptional soldier, Sgt Daley commits his time to help others and to promote the good work of the Armed Forces outside of the military environment.
Recently representing the British Army on a Jungle warfare course in Brazil, he finished top and has been asked to return and instruct on the next course.
Not one to sit still for very long, Sergeant Daley completed a charity bike ride from Newcastle to London in 24 hours, covering 316 miles, raising a significant sum of money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Sgt Daley is now looking to his next charity event; the Bolton Ironman. Outside of his military work, he is a keen football coach, spending his weekends coaching Stanley Rovers Juniors.
