Knudsen gets World Cup call
Jonas Knudsen has been called up by Denmark for their World Cup qualifier against Kazakhstan and the friendly against the Czech Republic.
The 24-year-old defender was named in the provisional squad but not the trimmed down selection by manager Age Hareide.
The Dane, who has two senior caps, trained with Town Thursday morning but has now been added to the squad and flew out to meet up with his international team-mates last night for the qualifier against Kazakhstan in Copenhagen tonight.
Denmark also play a friendly in the Czech Republic on November 15.
He joins Christophe Berra [Scotland], Jonny Williams and Tom Lawrence [Wales], David McGoldrick [Republic of Ireland], Monty Patterson [New Zealand] and Andre Dozzell [England U18s] on international duty.
