Three second-half goals the difference as the Blues get back to winning ways
Town’s U18s recorded a first victory since the beginning of September on Saturday morning with a 4-1 win over QPR.
Alan Lee’s side fell behind early on due to an own goal from Steven Cahill but hit back immediately through Kieron Cathline’s volley as the sides went in level at the break.
The Blues started the second half strongly and took the lead as the R’s failed to properly clear a Town corner and Pat Webber nodded past the ‘keeper.
There wasn’t long to wait for a third goal and it was a piece of brilliance from Conor McKendry as he finished delightfully from 20 yards out.
The win was rounded-off by Bailey Clements who made it four shortly after with his first 18s goal of the campaign.
