Town midfielder, Tom remains upbeat following the 0-0 draw with his former club Blackburn
Tom Lawrence is confident the goals will flow again for Town soon after an improved performance against Blackburn Rovers this afternoon.
The goalless draw at Ewood Park made it five without a goal for the Blues, but the Leicester loanee is looking to take the positives from the game.
‘I think it was a much better performance. We created a number of chances but it didn’t quite drop for us again,’ he told Ipswich Player HD.
‘I’m sure the win is coming and hopefully that’s on Tuesday.
‘It was more fluid today, and that’s what we’ve been working on so the goals will come. We haven’t quite had the luck and I think we should have got two or three today.
‘All the lads are gutted we couldn’t get the goal but we go into Tuesday on a positive, because that was a good away performance, but we need to get the goals to back that up.’
