Former Blues midfielder honoured in ceremony at the Scottish Football Museum

Blues legend, John Wark was inducted into the Scottish Football Hall of Fame at a dinner at Hampden Park last night.

The former midfielder, who made 29 appearances for his country between 1979 and 1984, was honoured inside the Scottish Football Museum in Glasgow alongside fellow ex-Liverpool midfielder, Gary McAllister, former Colchester boss, Jock Wallace as well as Stevie Chalmers and Alex Smith.

This year, supporters were invited to select their nominees before a panel chose their five inductees.

The Hall of Fame has inducted new members since its first ceremony in 2004 and now includes just under 100 legends of the game north of the border, including another former Town player, Terry Butcher, who was added in 2011.
