Defender unhappy to go into the break on a defeat, but admits Town could benefit from some time off
Jonas Knudsen admits the result in Town's 1-0 defeat to Huddersfield wasn't good enough, and would have liked to opportunity to put it right as soon as possible.
The Blues went down to a second-half Christopher Schindler goal at Portman Road, and now go in to the international break on the back of four matches without a victory before returning to action against Blackburn at Ewood Park in two weeks.
"It wasn't good enough, we needed to get a draw from the game if we weren't going to win it," Jonas told Ipswich Player HD.
"It's the small details, and we've done it away from home when a team makes a little mistake and we win 1-0.
"We haven't scored in a few games, but we have a good base defensively. I think we defend very well as a team, but now we need to put the extra little percent to get the goals because it's not far away.
"I wanted to go into the break with a win, so I don't want to go two weeks without a game now. I want to play another game as soon as possible but maybe it's good for us to get a little rest to get some players back from injury.
"Everybody has been in the situation where you want to have more points than you've got, but at the moment we have to stick together and come out of the other side of this run so we can learn from it to be stronger together."
