Town striker looking for his fellow players to enjoy being on the pitch in order to pick up more points
Leon Best believes Town need to start enjoying themselves on the pitch if he and his fellow players are to improve both results and their level of performance.
The striker came on as a second-half substitute as the Blues were defeated 1-0 at Elland Road, with former Town loanee, Chris Wood netting the only goal of the game.
“We need to get on with it, look forward to the next game and enjoy it out there on the pitch, that’s the main thing,” he told Ipswich Player HD.
“Once we start enjoying it, and keep giving 110% then I think things will start to go our way.
“It was a good goal from Leeds, and you could say ‘what if we did this, or what if we had done that’ but it was just one of those days and if we had had a bit of luck we could have nicked one.
“We are looking forward to the next game, because that’s all you can do. They came in, played well, and were better than us today. They created more chances and kept the ball better than us.
“This is my first experience of losing a game here, and the lads are all together. There is no-one getting on at anyone, moaning or causing any drama, and everyone is behind each other which I think is massive.
“You need everyone to be behind you and be your 'brother in arms' so you can go into the next game, enjoy it and have confidence.”
