Keeper is number one with Blue Army again

Bart Bialkowski has completed a clean sweep of the player of the year awards from the Town fans.

The 29-year-old ‘keeper picked up the Supporters’ Player of the Year award at last night’s presentation, along with the Junior Blues Player of the Year and the Away Fans Player of the Year.

It’s the second year in succession that Bart has received both the Player of the Year and Junior Blues Player of the Year.

“I can feel the fans like me a lot and it's a really nice feeling. To know the job you're doing on the pitch is appreciated by the fans is really good,” the ‘keeper told the Club website.

Mick McCarthy, his staff and the first-team squad were all at the presentation night in Legends at Portman Road.

Tom Lawrence was runner-up to Bart in the main award while Tristan Nydam picked up the Academy Player of the Year award.
