Recent signing is loving life at Town and wants to play his part for the Blues out on the pitch
Martyn Waghorn has said he has settled in well to life at Portman Road - and is itching to showcase his skills on the pitch.
The recent addition from Rangers made his debut as a second-half substitute in the midweek win over Luton and is hoping to stake a claim for a place against Barnsley this weekend.
"I'm raring to go and hopefully I can play a part at Barnsley on Saturday but whatever happens I'll be ready if called upon," the striker told the official Club website.
"I've settled in really well and I think it helps that we have so many games in a short space of time.
"The lads have welcomed me into the group really well and having away games has helped me bond with the lads and have a good laugh with them on the coach and over dinner.
"We are looking forward to another tough game against Barnsley and we know they will be dogged, but we aren't thinking about them. It's more about focusing on our game, implementing our style of play and taking the game to them."
