Blues boss gives the latest news ahead of Town's Carabao Cup tie at Luton
Mick McCarthy has a handful of fresh injury concerns ahead of Tuesday's Carabao Cup tie against Luton Town at Kenilworth Road.
Some players picked up small knocks in Saturday's 1-0 win over Birmingham at Portman Road, although it looks as if Andre Dozzell is set for a period on the sidelines.
"Saturday was a good performance and a terrific result, but Andre's injury put a dampner on it," Mick told iFollow Ipswich.
"We'll find out how bad it is tonight, but I went to see him yesterday and took round his England cap, but he's very, very down as he's bound to be.
"I've probably got one of the smallest squads in the league, that's for sure, and I won't disrespect the competition tomorrow.
"Jordan Spence has jarred his knee, Grant Ward had a really bad kick on his calf, Tommy Smith has a really stiff back after his injury last year, so they won't be involved.
"Joe Garner is also looking after his shoulder so there will be changes but not too many."
