The boss delivers his team-news ahead of the visit of the Bees

Blues boss, Mick McCarthy expects a handful of players to return from injury and illness this weekend, but have Luke Chambers sidelined for the visit of Brentford.

Town will be without the skipper for a month through injury, but is expecting Bersant Celina, Dean Gerken and Flynn Downes to be OK.

"Bersant and Gerks trained today so they should be fine," he told the Club website.

"If it was a cup final, I could have played Flynn on Tuesday, but he's only 18, so I don't want to overuse him.

"Emyr Huws has trained over the past couple of days and I'm hopeful of him playing at Crystal Palace on Tuesday, while Luke Hyam will play for the 23s on Monday, so progress is being made.

"I'm really hoping Tom Adeyemi can get out of the physio room too. He's been so unlucky, and he'll be devastated. He got a calf strain on the back of the virus he had.

"He came back and put maximum effort in and now he has a slight knock, but I hope he gets back soon."
