Smith adds to Town's injury concerns

Town’s injury woes continue with the news that Tommy Smith faces a spell on the sidelines.

The New Zealand international has sustained a hamstring injury and looks set to be out for six to eight weeks.

Tommy joins fellow defender Adam Webster in the treatment room, the former Portsmouth player ruled out for around a month after picking up an ankle injury in the Carabao Cup win at Luton in midweek.

Andre Dozzell is out for the season after damaging his cruciate ligament in the opening day win over Birmingham while also missing are Emyr Huws [achilles], Teddy Bishop [groin] and Luke Hyam [knee]. Tom Adeyemi has not featured for Town since his summer arrival after going down with a virus. He is now training after three weeks out.
