Youngster not feeling the pressure as the Blues face Palace

Tristan Nydam believes Town should play with a “nothing to lose” attitude for Tuesday night’s Carabao Cup game against Crystal Palace.

Blues boss Mick McCarthy could potentially name Town’s youngest side ever for the second round tie at Selhurst Park and Nydam is relishing the opportunity.

“It will be strange but we’re looking forward to it,” Nydam told the Official Club website.

“There isn’t really any pressure on us due to the circumstances but obviously we want to go there and cause an upset.

“We need to enjoy ourselves and hopefully impress the boss, the coaches and the fans.

“This could be a great chance to learn and improve for the rest of the season.”
