Dane looks for home comforts over rest of the season

Jonas Knudsen believes a draw was a fair result as Town were unable to deal a knockout blow against QPR on Boxing Day.

A 0-0 draw extended Blues’ unbeaten run at Portman Road to five games, and the Danish international believes home form can be crucial in the Championship.

“It was a tough scrap today. I don’t think it was our best game so we take a point and move on,” Jonas told iFollow Ipswich.

“We’ve been good at home this season and that’s very important. We need to keep it going. We wanted to give the fans a bit more today but a draw was a fair result I think.

“Both sides had chances but couldn’t take them. Sometimes you’re flying and everything goes in but today that wasn’t the case.

“Our focus is on Derby now and a win in that one would be brilliant. With 22 games remaining it’s time to crack on.”
