McDonnell back with Blues as injuries start to bite
Cole Skuse remains a doubt for Saturday’s game at Wolves with Blues recalling Adam McDonnell from his loan spell at Aldershot.
Town have eight midfield players on the injury list [Dozzell, Huws, Adeyemi, Nydam, Downes, Bru, Hyam, Skuse] leaving the boss to make a Thursday morning phone call to add to his options.
“Skusey is doubtful for Wolves. We are still hopeful but I won’t be risking him if he’s not right.
“Kevin Bru collided with Didz and he has bruised a rib but he tells me he will be okay.
“We are short on numbers though and I rang Gary Waddock [Aldershot manager] this morning and had to give him the bad news.
“Adam has benefited from being there and they have benefited from him being there. He will come back to us a better player for the experience.”
