Mick hails players of real quality and looks for newboys to give Town a lift
Wales international Emyr has joined Blues on loan from Cardiff until the end of the campaign and is one seven players to have signed for the Club in January.
“Emyr is a player I have always liked,” said the Town boss in his column in Saturday’s matchday programme.
“I think he was away on international duty with Wales when Neil Warnock picked his first side for Cardiff and he has not been able to get in from there but he is a player of real quality and hopefully he can get his career going again here.
“Dominic [Samuel] has already caught the eye in the short time he has been with us as well. He’s had loan spells before and scored goals. He’s quick and has got that youthful enthusiasm.
“I’m delighted to have both Dominic and Emyr here and they, along with the other new faces we have added in January have freshened things up. The place needs a lift and they will help provide that.”
Dominic has joined on loan from Reading until the end of the season but can't feature against his parent club on Saturday.
