No long term problem for midfielder but fitness race is on for weekend
Cole Skuse is a doubt for Saturday’s trip to Aston Villa after being forced off in the first-half of the 2-2 draw with Reading at the weekend.
The midfielder left Portman Road with his foot in a protective boot and has had a scan to assess the damage.
“Skusey has a heavily bruised lower calf and achilles,” Town physio Matt Byard told the Club website.
“It depends on how it settles down over the next couple of days as to whether he has a chance of making the Villa game.”
