Striker delighted to be a Blue but will have to wait for debut

Dominic Samuel will be a frustrated spectator when Town take on Reading on Saturday.

The striker has joined Blues from the Royals on loan until the end of the season but is not permitted to play against his parent club at Portman Road.

“It’s unfortunate I can't play on Saturday because I'm ready to go and I can’t wait to get out there,” Dominic told the Club website.

“I hate watching football, I just want to play, but I think it will be good for me to be watching how both teams get on.

“Obviously right now I'm here on loan at Ipswich so I want the best for the club, but I also want the best for Reading. I’ll just have to watch and see how the game goes.

“The gaffer and all of the coaches have welcomed me into the Club and I feel comfortable here already. I’m just ready to get going now.”
