New Zealand international is set to rejoin Braintree Town on loan, just days after netting a hat-trick for the U23 side
Mick McCarthy has confirmed that Monty Patterson is set to return to Braintree, moving on loan until the end of the season.
The New Zealand international, who hit a hat-trick for Town's U23 side during the 8-0 victory over Watford on Monday, will team up with the National League side ahead of the weekend's home tie with North Ferriby.
Monty, who can play upfront or wide on the left, previously spent two months on loan with the Iron earlier this campaign.
Town do hold a 24 hour recall clause, should he be needed for the first-team here at Portman Road.
