Winger ready for challenge of Championship football at 'massive' club
The 24-year-old winger has joined from Macclesfield for an undisclosed fee, putting pen to paper on a contract until the summer of 2020, with a year option on top.
Danny will meet up with the rest of the squad at Preston tomorrow but will not feature for Town at Deepdale.
“It’s been a hectic few days. I was told that Ipswich were interested in me earlier in the week and I drove down today once I was told it had all been agreed,” the former Bolton and Stockport player told the Club website.
“It’s an exciting move for me, joining a massive club like Ipswich and I can’t wait to get going.
“I know I have a lot to prove but I’ll be working as hard as I can to show everyone what I can do.
“I made my debut in the Football League for Stockport against Leeds at Elland Road and it’s a fantastic feeling to be back to that level again.
“Macclesfield have been great for me and I’d like to thank everyone there for helping me progress as a player.”
