Fun and footie for youngsters at Portman Road during half-term

Town’s next holiday football courses take place at Portman Road in February half-term with a full range of activities for boys and girls aged 5-12, with all abilities welcome.

For boys and girls aged 5-6 years. With the youngsters just starting out on discovering the wonders of football, the coach will take them through some of the most well-known skills of the game along with the techniques to improve their overall game. Fun challenges and small-sided games complete the day with participation medals for all.

‘Funday’ challenges
Does you child fancy himself or herself as the next Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo or Toni Duggan? How fast can they strike the ball? Can they hit the crossbar in the crossbar challenge? If so then come and try out our challenge day for boys and girls aged 7-10. They will compete in a range of football challenges throughout the morning, battling it out with other players to be the star player. In the afternoon its Champions League time, with plenty of small-sided matches, with medals for the league winners, challenge winners and everyone receiving a participation medal.

Why not come and try the fastest growing football trend? If your child wants to learn great technique, pass the ball quickly and be able to use skills then come and try out all the basics needed to play this fast paced version of football. For boys and girls aged 11-12.

All courses take place on Wednesday, February 15, 2017. 
Mini Kickers is from 10am to 12pm and costs £10
‘Funday’ Challenges is from 10am to 3pm and costs £25
Futsal (including goalkeepers) is from 1pm to 3pm and costs £15
